Regular Season Round 30: Derby - Borac CA 90-80

Everything could happen in Podgorica at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked MontenegrinDerby and 11th ranked Serbian Borac had identical 10-19 record. This time Derby used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Cacak 90-80 on Monday night. American point guard Erick Neal (178-1995, college: UT Arlington) scored 21 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Zoran Nikolic (212-1996) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Neal is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Derby players scored in double figures. Derby's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Pavle Nikolic (200-2005) with 25 points and American point guard Diante Baldwin (182-1994, college: UNCG) scored 14 points and 8 assists. Derby (11-19) moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Borac CA dropped to the twelfth position with 20 games lost.
